A Gloucester girl died after a patio door came off its hinges and fell on her, an inquest has heard.
Ruby Jones, aged two, was injured at the family home in Nympsfield Road, Tuffley last month.
She died at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, the inquest at Gloucester City Council's North Warehouse
headquarters heard.
A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as "severe head injury with skull fracture".
Coroner Alan Crickmore adjourned the inquest into Ruby's death.
I read this tragic story in the news and felt she deserved to be remembered in some way. I am
certain other people who heard about it feel the same.
